College, Job, or Both:
Ty Lee works in the circus as a jack-of-all-trades: tightrope-walker, acrobat, contortionist. She's also considering teaching some yoga classes. She got a stellar education up through high school, in a prestigious private school, but has no plans to continue with school at the time being.

Hobbies/Extracurricular Activities:
Yoga, meditation, gymnastics, martial arts (her style runs toward speed, agility, and use of pressure points rather than force)... as well as causing trouble, and giving the occasional makeover...

This is a character journal for Ty Lee of Avatar, for Mishima Miasma RP community, played by tricia868.

Brief History:
Ty Lee is one of 7 children in her family, all 6 of her siblings sisters nearly identical to her. Her father is a wealthy business executive, one of the top-ranking people in a multi-million-dollar company. Although Ty Lee was always treated well, she was never treated as an individual, at least not in her home life. She was sent to the most prestigious private schools growing up, at which she befriended the daughters of other corporate giants. An unlikely trio, as their personalities couldn't be more different, the three of them were unstoppable on any front.

When she graduated high school, Ty Lee didn't want to continue on the same track as most of the people she knew. Going to college just didn't appeal to her. However, athletics or martial arts had been a requirement at school and as an extracurricular, and her years of gymnastics stood her in good stead, and her acrobatics managed to secure her a job as a circus performer. It wasn't the sort of position she was expected to get, but her parents and friends understood that it was perfect for her, and at least she stood out now, no longer part of a matched set.

Personality:
Ty Lee is energetic, flirtatious, full of smiles and laughs. Although she can seem fickle or flaky at times, there are certain people to whom she'll adhere regardless of consequence. Ty Lee is cheerful, at least outwardly, when in a fight, when performing, and when the center of attention. She can be petulant from time to time though. She also has no qualms about using guys for her own convenience on occaion, but she doesn't mean to actually hurt anybody.

She's rather spiritual but not religious. She believes in auras, and tries to make sure her own aura is pink. Bubbly and with a bit of a craving for attention, the circus was made for her. She always wanted to be unique, to stand out, and this gives her that chance. Ty Lee has never been happier. She doesn't mind any strange looks she gets; they're outweighed by the fact that no one's confusing her with one of her sisters, or paying attention to her friends to her exclusion.

Ty Lee is extremely social, and will befriend even her enemies, contradictory though that sounds. However, very few people know her deeper concerns and insecurities.
